These creatures, the Humongers, are first introduced in volume 1, The New Alliance. They are the main warriors in Queen Torron's army. Being seven feet tall and weigh in excess of four hundred pounds gives them a great advantage.
They also make up 100% of the castle guards and the queen's personal guards. they are fearless and ferocious. They wield swords and axes but their favorite weapon is the morning star. This mid-evil weapon has a handle with a ball attached to the end. The ball has spikes protruding from its surface. It is very deadly. |
This is a Pagandorf. Most people would call it a dragon. This dragon is not friendly, it is not one you play with or have fun with. This dragon is a killing machine, it hunts down anything or anyone that is kind and virtuous and kills it.
This is the first monster introduced in volume 1, The New Alliance, it appears in the pro-log. The worst of the dragons are the Spinx Dragons. Unknowingly the Alliance befriends a Spinx Dragon. This dragon becomes Queen Torron's personal dragon. She named it Starfire. The only way to kill a Pagandorf is to shoot an arrow into its neck. That is why there is a metal shield around its neck. With the shield in place, the only vulnerable place is a small opening at the very back of the shield. |
The Mongorian is the largest of the creatures. He is over ten feet tall and weighs over eight hundred pounds. He is not quick and nimble but rather slow and methodical.
He is an integral part of Torron's army, he pounds the drums of war and always wants to be out front leading the charge. This monster is introduced for the first time in volume 2, Curse of the Cubericon. |
The Weborians were introduced in volume 1, The New Alliance. They were the second monster the New Alliance faced just before entering the Safe Haven for the first time.
This spider-like creature is very dangerous. Even though it only has six legs (spiders have eight legs), all six legs are lethal. The feet are equipped with razor sharp knife-like weapons. The ultra-thin web they spin is as strong as a quarter inch thick steel cable. Within an hour after the victim is wrapped in its web, the web begins to give off an acidic gas. The victim dies in minutes and dissolves within one hour. |
The Horentine is a snake like creature. Because he travels quite fast on his belly, he can sneak up on his pray through the tall grasses or underbrush. His reflexes are quick and hands and arms are strong, so he is as deadly as any other creature in Torron's army.
Because of his quickness, he is particularly hard to kill. If his enemy happens to cut him in half during a battle, the two halves fall to the ground and wiggle around and instead of dying, the two halves morph into two Horentines. Horentines are particularly hard to kill. Stabbing them through the torso only slows them down until the wound heals over. It only takes a few seconds for wounds to heal. The only way to kill a Horentine is the cleanly cut off its head. The Horentine is first introduced in volume 1, The New Alliance. |
The Baturo was the first monster the Alliance faced in volume 1, The New Alliance. They attacked Jeremy, encased him in a banana shaped sack. He was close to death by the time Steve cut him out of the sack.
Unknown to Jesse, when she held him in her arms, her healing powers took over and healed his wounds, saving his life. The Baturos are nine feet tall and are vicious carnivores. |
These bee-like Nectorians, create the sector for Queen Torron that gives her eternal life. Without the sector, she would become her real age. since that is over twelve hundred years old, she would surely die.
They are quick and nimble. Their claws can rip the skin off their enemies, but their greatest weapon is their needle nose. They plunge the needle through the eye of their enemy and suck the brains out. The Alliance meets these creatures in volume 2, Curse of the Cubericon. |

The Marker is a short guy, only about 30 inches tall. He sports a luxurious dark brown fur that makes him look friendly. He's not! He is quick. His size and speed give him the advantage in hand to hand combat. He has deadly claws on his fingers and toes. When in close, he can use his sharp, jagged teeth. His mouth opens wider than the size of his head, allowing him to devour almost any enemy. The Alliance encountered this creature in volume 2, Curse of the Cubericon. |
Firebirds are also known as Eaglecrones. This large eagle like bird has a wing span of over twelve feet. Its head is similar to that of a dragon and it can spew a fiery saliva like the dragon. The volume of saliva is less than the dragon but the accuracy is much better.
