I want to inspire young readers to read great books. I also want to inspire young writers to not give up on their dreams to be successful writers. I waited entirely too long before I began to write. I want young people to dream big and learn how to bring those dreams into reality.
I am retired from my work as Vice President of Marketing and Sales at an industrial automation company. I live in Apex, North Carolina, with Linda, my wife of thirty-seven years. I have five children and fifteen grandchildren. My first screenplay, Alliance of the Quad: The New Alliance was presented to fifteen production companies at a screenwriters convention in Los Angeles. The consensus was unanimous: the story line was unique, the story approach was intriguing, but to make a $150 million fantasy adventure movie would require an audience standing at the theater door before the movie could be funded. I was told to go home and write the book(s).
Volume 1 – Alliance of the Quad: The New Alliance was published in 2013. Volume 2 –Alliance of the Quad: Curse of the Cubericon was published in October 2014. Volume 3 –Alliance of the Quad: Secret of Four Peaks Island was published in December of 2016. Volume 4 – Alliance of the Quad: Demons of Diamond Ridge was published in July of 2018. The final volume of the five book series, Volume 5 - Alliance of the Quad: Winds of War was published in July of 2019. The next challenge is to get my "self published" work in the the market place. I am doing bookstore signing events and starting ad campaigns on Amazon. I intend to continue writing, spending my time writing and traveling.
